DDRCDevelopmental Disabilities Reality Course (DDRC): Updates and current trends in providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities.

During most of our summer CAMP sessions we offer the DDRC to our health care volunteers to increase their knowledge and understanding of the care of individuals with developmental disabilities. Each course is focused on the care of needs of the campers participating that session. Click here for 2011 Health Care Volunteer and DDRC Summer Schedule.

Each day you will receive lectures on the focus topic of the week and then join the CAMPers and counselors during activities for "hands on" training. Medical staff will assist in medication administration and care for the CAMPers medical needs. Non-medical staff will be assisting with the other care needs of the CAMPers.

DDRC We are offering a wide variety of DDRC courses this year; many of the changes are in response to the comments and recommendations of previous DDRC participants. We look forward to getting your feedback after attending!

As a non-profit organization, we attempt to make our services as affordable as possible for our campers and their families. To help us meet this goal, we ask all DDRC participants to provide $100 per session to assist in off seting the cost of their room and board expenses. Participants who are active duty military are exempt from this charge.
