CAMP Gala to Honor Richard & Toni Goldsmith
Children’s Association for Maximum Potential will host its 6th Annual Starry Night CAMP Gala in the newly renovated ballroom of the San Antonio Country Club on Saturday, September 13, 2014. CAMP is also celebrating the 35th anniversary of it’s founding in 1979, when the dreams of a child with special needs, who wanted to attend camp and ride a horse like John Wayne, were realized.
“We are humbled as we realize that what started as the dream of one young boy has grown into an organization serving over a thousand CAMPers with special needs—and their families— every year. We are honored to celebrate this rich history with our 2014 Gala Honorees, Toni and Richard Goldsmith, who also share a rich history of service to the San Antonio community“ said CAMP Executive Director Susan Osborne. “With the support of special people like the Goldsmith’s—and people like you—the “starry night” sky is truly the limit for where CAMP can go in the next 35 years!”
The evening will begin with a reception and silent auction at 6 pm, followed by a seated dinner and program at 7 pm. Cocktail attire is suggested for the event. The Starry Night CAMP Gala is CAMP’s signature fundraising event that supports summer and school year programs.
