Summer Camp is a series of six-day overnight summer camp sessions for children and adults with special needs who may not be eligible to attend other camps due to the severity of their disability or medical condition. We also include activities for campers' siblings without disabilities. Camp CAMP is located in Center Point, Texas, along the Guadalupe River. A well-equipped cabin is available for 24-hour care during the two Medical sessions. Campers sleep in large, wheelchair-accessible, climate controlled cabins, along with counselors. Campers experience typical summer activities, such as horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, outdoor cooking and arts and crafts. Sessions are filled on a first come, first serve basis. This program is housed at our Camp CAMP facility at 515 Skyline Drive in Center Point, TX 78010.
School Year Programs are comprised of monthly events from September through May for children and adults aged 6 months to 40 years. We typically offer 3 programs: Respite Weekend Camps, Parent's Night Out (PNO), and Teen and Adult Day Adventure (TADA). Families must have an annual School Year Programs application for each camper in order to participate in any of the desired events. Siblings are also welcome at Respite Weekends and PNO but must also have a complete application. The School Year Programs application ensures the family receives information about, and invitations to the monthly events. The application fees are $60 for one child and $10 for each additional child. This application is valid for the entire school year season (September to May) and must be current to attend events. Additional fees apply to Respite Weekends and TADA.
