Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a free childcare and enrichment activity program for children with special needs and their siblings, aged 6 months to 13 years. During a PNO event, children participate in several fun, theme related games and a craft. Although dinner is not provided during PNO events, children are served a small snack and drink.
PNO events meet at the Admiral Boorda Center/CAMP building at Lackland Air Force Base (LAFB) on scheduled Friday nights, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Although LAFB is not open to the general public, families who enroll for a PNO event will be able to access the site that evening, regardless of military status.
Beginning in August each year, families must apply for CAMP's School Year Programs (Sept.-May) to enroll for monthly PNO events. Once a family submits the full, annual application, then the PNO event enrollments are available for the family to enroll for the following month's event.
