Please Note: Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, PNO will not take place during 2021. We look forward to bringing this program back when it is safe for our campers, staff, and volunteers.
Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a free childcare and enrichment activity program for children with special needs and their siblings, aged 6 months to 13 years. During a PNO event, children participate in several fun, theme related games and a craft. All children should have dinner beforehand and are served a small snack and drink during the event.
PNO events meet at the Admiral Boorda Center/CAMP building at Lackland Air Force Base (LAFB) on scheduled Friday nights, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Although LAFB is not open to the general public, families who enroll for a PNO event will be able to access the site that evening, regardless of military status.
Beginning in August each year, families must apply for CAMP’s School Year Programs (Sept.-May) to enroll for monthly PNO events. Once a family submits the full, annual application, then regular PNO event enrollments are sent to the family to enroll for the following month’s event.
