Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a monthly program one Saturday evening during non-summer months – for children with special needs and their siblings. Children are divided by age groups and participate in enrichment activities. Counselors are paired with a child to help assist in activities.
Training is available for volunteers prior to the program. Volunteers can earn up to 5 service hours per event. This program is mainly housed at CAMP’s Executive Offices at the Boorda Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Locations may vary for fall 2021.
PNO is a fun and rewarding program ideal for volunteers who cannot commit to an extended program or who have a group who would like to volunteer.
