Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a monthly program during non-summer months – September through May – for infants and children with special needs and their siblings. Children are divided by age groups and participate in enrichment activities. Counselors are paired with a child to help assist in activities.
Training for volunteers is available at 5:00 p.m. the night of the event. Volunteers can earn up to 5 service hours per event. This program is housed at CAMP’s Executive Offices at the Boorda Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Volunteers must be 14 years old or older.
PNO is a fun and rewarding program ideal for volunteers who cannot commit to an extended program or who have a group who would like to volunteer.
