Matching Gifts

Many companies now provide the opportunity to direct charitable gifts to the nonprofit of your choice. Often, employee matching gifts are dollar-for-dollar, but some companies will give double or even triple the original donation. Additionally, many companies give matching gifts for employees’ volunteer efforts. Procedures vary with each company, so ask your human resource department about whether they provide matching gifts.
