Children’s Association for Maximum Potential (CAMP) is committed to protecting the privacy of our campers, their families, volunteers, staff, and donors. This privacy policy governs how we collect and use information online and offline, including at http//www.campcamp.org, gala.campcamp.org, and its subdomains, including websites accessed through your mobile devices and downloadable mobile applications (“websites”). Your use of the websites or provision of personal information to CAMP, as described below, constitutes your agreement to the terms of this privacy policy.
EMAIL and SMS/MMS COMMUNICATION
CAMP regularly sends emails or SMS/MMS messages to visitors to the websites.
Suppose you have provided us with your email address. In that case, we may send you emails to alert you to information, events, activities, or programs related to CAMP that may interest you. Email recipients may opt-out at any time by following the “unsubscribe” instructions in the email message.
EMAILING CAMP
If you send an email to CAMP, your message and email address may be saved, and we may send you emails to another member of CAMP to respond to your message. Any material, business information, ideas, concepts, or other information sent to CAMP by email will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary. We will only use the information provided in your email and email address to improve the CAMP website and fulfill or respond to your requests for additional information.
HOW WE COLLECT AND USE THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE
CAMP uses your personal information for internal purposes, such as completing and tracking your transaction, analyzing trends, and collecting statistics.
We collect and use the information you provide to personalize the websites so that we can better meet your needs, inform you of upcoming events and programming by email and/or SMS or MMS messaging, analyze trends, and collect statistics. We maintain the data you provide and a record of your transactions in secure databases. Our collection and use of visitor information varies with the type of visit or transaction. WHEN YOU MAKE A DONATION
CAMP will ask you to provide the personal information necessary to process and service your donation online. This information may include your name, billing address, telephone number, email address, and credit card number. Your credit card information will be temporarily stored on a secure server and used only to process your online transactions. We will retain the information you provided for our records and to facilitate donor relations and to inform you via email, SMS or MMS messaging about upcoming events or information about CAMP.
We do not share the names and postal addresses we receive from donors with other organizations. We may share such information with third-party vendors hired by the CAMP to help us analyze and understand our donor base. If you do not want to have your information used in this way, you may send an e-mail message containing your name and contact information to development@campcamp.org.
WHEN YOU PURCHASE SPONSORSHIP OR TICKETS TO AN EVENT
CAMP will ask you to provide personal information necessary to fulfill your online sponsorship or ticket order, which may include your name, billing address, telephone number, and credit card number. This information is requested by telephone when you place a sponsorship or ticket order. For online sponsorship or ticket orders, we also require your email address so that you can receive order, event, or other transaction-related emails and so that we can communicate with you if we have difficulty processing your sponsorship or ticket order. When you purchase tickets, your credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secure server, and we will retain the contact information you provided with your order for our records to facilitate customer service and to inform you of CAMP-related programs and offerings by email, SMS or MMS messaging.
WHEN YOU PURCHASE PRODUCTS ONLINE
When you order a product from the CAMP online shop, we need to know your name, billing and shipping address, telephone number, email address, and credit card information to process your order. Your credit card information will be stored temporarily on a secure server and used only as needed to process your transaction. It will also be sent to our third-party payment card processors and service providers to perform fraud detection and payment processing services. CAMP may then inform you of CAMP-related programs and offerings by email, SMS or MMS messaging.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that CAMP does not own or operate. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of these third parties before providing any information to them. Some of these third parties may share or sell the information that they collect from you. CAMP is not responsible for third-party privacy practices. If you choose to visit or use any third-party products, websites, or services, including those offered by our third-party service providers or other partners, please be aware that this Privacy Policy will not apply to your activities or any information you disclose to these third parties.

CAMP makes every reasonable effort to ensure the security of transactions that occur on the websites. To maintain data accuracy, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure the correct use of information, we have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and administrative procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
The CAMP website uses various measures designed to secure information. However, there is no such thing as 100% security.

Please be advised that when placing an online order through the CAMP online store, your personal data will be protected in accordance with United States law but may be at a different level of protection than is legally required in the European Union.
