Parent’s Night Out (PNO) is a monthly program one Friday night 5:00 – 10:30 p.m. during non-summer months – September through May – for infants and children with special needs and their siblings. Children are divided by age groups and participate in enrichment activities. Counselors are paired with a child to help assist in activities.
Training is available at 5:00 p.m. the night of the event. Volunteers can earn up to 5 service hours per event. This program is housed at CAMP’s Executive Offices at the Boorda Center on Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.
PNO is a fun and rewarding program ideal for volunteers who cannot commit to an extended program or who have a group who would like to volunteer.
